Vinton Fall Festival

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Vinton Fall Festival on Saturday, October 13, 2012, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., in downtown Vinton. Activities include: two entertainment stages; crafts; pancake breakfast; 5K distance run/walk; flowers, fruits, vegetables, sewing, crafts and canned goods ,children’s activities; doggy costume contest, a Civil War encampment and more including the Monster Truck Rides. Approximately 90 vendors with crafts, baked goods, gift items, home improvement, decorating, and health and beauty items will display and sell products. Also, food vendors with a wide variety of choices.
The Pancake Breakfast will take place at the V.F.W. from 7:00 a.m. - 11 a.m. Tickets are available at the door or in advance by calling 540-342-8928.
Registration for the 5k Run, the day of the race from 6:30 a.m. – 7:40 am at the Farmers Market. The 5k Run/Walk starts at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 13th.
The annual Vinton Doggy Pageant (Doggy Costume Contest) will be at the Vinton Farmer’s Market at 11:15 am. Registration begins at 11 am.
