The newly constructed Vinton War Memorial Park is nearing completion, and we are excited to begin planning for the official ribbon cutting celebration. Please save the date and join us for the ribbon cutting of the Vinton War Memorial Park on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Monday, April 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
The event will begin at 3:00 PM with a brief program and the official ribbon cutting, followed by a celebratory gathering featuring refreshments, music, and giveaways continuing until 6:00 PM.
Parking for the event will be available in the Vinton War Memorial parking lot (814 E. Washington Avenue), located just below the park. We hope you will be able to join us as we celebrate this exciting addition to our community
